This body of work delves into the raw and unsettling imagery of modern conflict. Fueled not by political allegiance but by a deep emotional response, the paintings reflect my confrontation with the relentless cycle of war, destruction, and human suffering. I do not seek to moralize, but to witness and to remember. The images of broken bodies, scorched towns, and silenced children are etched into my mind, too horrific to ignore, too frequent to forget.
What haunts me most are the small faces, faces of children torn apart by fire and steel, their innocence consumed by violence that was never theirs to carry. These paintings are not direct representations but emotional echoes, attempts to process what words cannot. Through color, texture, and distortion, I aim to give form to a grief that is both personal and collective.
This project is a visual protest. Against numbness. Against indifference. Against the normalization of death as collateral. It is also a fragile act of remembrance, because even in devastation, there is a human story that demands to be seen.
